One North: The Artists’ 1000 Recipes for Peace
During the summer holidays, One North has been dedicated to hosting a variety of exciting activities to support the holistic development of children. As the new school term approaches, One North is collaborating with the Hong Kong Expressive Arts Therapy Service Center to present the “One North: The Artists’ 1000 Recipes for Peace” interactive exhibition. This initiative connects with Expo 2025 Osaka, using expressive arts to explore everyone’s “place of peace” and highlighting the importance of mental health.
The atrium of One North will be transformed into a healing Yuen Long art map, inviting both adults and children to explore the community from a fresh perspective. Together, they will symbolically “fly” to Expo 2025 Osaka and participate in a cross-regional expressive arts collective creation project. The Hong Kong Expressive Arts Therapy Service Center will bring artworks themed around “Home”, created by people from around the world during the “Arts to Hearts” Expressive Arts for Mind-Body-Spirit Wellness Cultural Festival at Expo 2025, to share with the Hong Kong public.
Expressive arts therapists will also host workshops over two consecutive weekends, guiding children to connect their mind, body, and spirit through colors, symbols, and lines as part of the cross-regional creation of “HOME” Expressive Arts Collective Creation Workshop. Additionally, through the “The Yuen Long Discovery” – Expressive Arts Dramatic Play Workshop, children can explore emotional stories of growth and life experiences.

- For your safety and that of the staff, participants should follow venue staff’s instruction during the participation, staff reserves the right to disqualify any participants or stop the activities and leave the venue immediately if participants do not observe the rules or disturb the order. Sino Group reserves the right to disqualify the eligibility of any person for participation without any notice if it is discovered or suspected that there is any breach of the terms and conditions of the event.
